Recently, the first batch of units of the Jinsha River Baihetan Hydropower Station, the world's largest under construction hydropower project with the largest single unit capacity and the highest technical difficulty, have officially been put into operation for power generation. The Baihetan Hydropower Station is a national key project in China to implement the "West East Power Transmission" and build clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy. All core technologies are independently developed.
