Description: This week on Will Write For Wine…it’s all about the Muse and how to get her to give you the goods. We discuss cowpaths, celebrity crushes, and, of course, chocolate. And if all else fails, get her drunk. Also, good wines, happy campers and tannins! And – a new contest! Really, what more could you ask out of a single podcast?

What are we drinking?

Lani had a 2005 Knapp Vineyards Chardonnay, New York.
Wine notes: A lot of made-up stuff; basically, a nice semi-dry chard.

Sam had a 2004 Happy Camper Cabernet Sauvignon from CA.
Wine notes: Brimming with berry, underscored by earth and spice. Happy camper Cabernet Sauvignon is your perfect companion to roasts, hearty grills or full-flavored cheeses. Taste the adventure and live large!
13% alcohol. $9. YUMMY!

Listener question:

From Lisa in Pennsylvania. Thank you, Lisa!

I’ve read some third-person/present tense works recently. At first, they struck me as odd and somewhat jarring to read, but I found myself liking them more as I went along. I decided to give this a try in my own writing, but I’m wondering if there are any hidden liabilities to employing this perspective, as opposed to sticking with the more commonly used first- or third-person/past tense narration? Your thoughts?

We Recommend!

Lani recommends: Agnes and the Hitman, by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer (book)
Sam recommends: Cash Cab (TV)
