Description: Tonight on Will Write for Wine… we prove we are really writers by not screwing up Writer Improv! We build a scene using conflict, and antagonists, and beats! Plus, big bang theories, pirate guidelines, and how to properly say “blanc.” We talk turning points, tannins, and blowing things up. All in all, a successful evening!

What are we drinking?

Lani had a 2003 Lindeman’s Cawarra Chardonnay/Semillon blend from Australia..
Wine notes: Citrus and stonefruit aromas which combine with a touch of honey and soft spice. A supple, medium bodied palate combining stonefruit and citrus flavours against a subtle vanillin backbone. Smooth and elegant with a refreshing, crisp finish. $13/magnum, 14% alcohol.

Sam had a 2004 DaVinci Chianti from Italy.
Wine notes: Crimson red with intense aromas of ripe fruit and flavors of fresh strawberry and plum. Elegant and supple. $13/bottle, 13% alcohol.

Shout-out to:

Sam: To Lisa for the wine lexicon site.
Lani: To Monica, even though she was kinda wrong about the tannins, because she was still kinda right! www.wine-science.com
Shout off to tannins for being confusing little buggers.
