Loved your first full podcast. I have it on linked to my Google Reader which will let me know when a new cast is up.
One comment about wines and needing corks to be considered good wine. As an expat in Australia I've learned that good wine does not have to have a cork but a screw top and does not have to cost an arm and leg.

Great to hear from you, Ann, and thanks for the nice comment.
The screw-top cap has been a bone of contention for many a wine drinker. On one hand, I love the simple act of uncorking a bottle. On the other, there's NOTHING worse than opening a great bottle of wine only to discover that its "corked" (the cork is bad and the wine is vinegar). Screw-tops have come a long way and I expect we will see more and more of them.
Thanks again. I hope you keep listening. And if you have any suggestions, please let us know!

Sigh. I can't get either wine anywhere near here. My folks introduced me to a wonderful German wine here at Thanksgiving, and do you think I can get that here, either? Hell no! Of course, considering that one drink - yes, just one - the other night made me feel sick and ughy for the rest of the night, perhaps my wine drinking days are coming to an end. Whaaa!

For a closing line, how about:
"Will Write for Wine was brought to you by the letter W--writing, women and wine."
Or...
"With both your writing and your wine, bottoms up!"
It just degenerates after that (and that's not a slogan...) Now I've just got to bring my laptop to a Wi-Fi zone so I can download you!!! Best of luck!

Will Write for Wine. Will celebrate with Champagne.
What so you do with all the corks ? Make somethihng creative ? Use them for ear plugs ?
Posted by: Jill at March 17, 2007 4:53 PM
No, Cate! You're too young to quit drinking! Seriously, maybe it was the type of wine. If it was red, then try white. They are more different than you think. :)
Thanks for the great ideas, Pam! They are all great. You should have seen the ones Lani and I came up with. Not pretty. Maybe it was the wine.
And Jill! How are you feeling? I hope you are doing well. We WILL do a champagne show at some point. I love the stuff.
The corks? LOL I haven't found anything particularly productive to do with corks and I should because its a shame to waste 'em. I'd put that question out to our readers, but frankly, I'm a little afraid of the answers we'd get. LOL
Thanks so much for stopping by ladies! I hope you enjoy the next episode.
