Show Notes: 008 Gypsies, Tramps & Cheese
| Description: This week on Will Write for Wine, Sam and Lani try their hand at improvising a story from scratch. On the air. While drinking. Also, nude podcasts, moonshine wine, and a little advice: Don't let anyone hit you in your schadenfreude. |

What are we drinking?
Lani had 2005 Three Thieves Circle K Ranch Pinot Noir.

Wine notes: "Three Thieves Circle K Ranch Pinot Noir is brilliant red with classic varietal aromas of cherries, red berries, and violets. In the mouth, the wine has spicy, sweet red cherries with creamy vanilla notes." $10.
Sam had 2004 Malbec from Finca El Retiro Vineyards in Argentina. From wonderful Laura Fitzgerald.
Wine notes: The wine has a deep color and ripe, blackcurranty (their writer, not us) fruit on the nose. On the palate, it is full-bodied, soft and accessible with ripe tannins.
Shout-out to: Sam’s Sears delivery guys for coming to her laundry rescue.
Catherine Wade for help with the improv!

Listener question was from Suemarie from Central New York:
So many writers tell me that I need an agent because she/he will get me a better deal and a bigger first bookrun. Ok. I admit I'm clueless about run size. How about a little information on book runs. Say I sold to story to Brava. Would having an agent mean I'll have a bigger book run?

You know, I was going to say you two were very welcome for my oh-so-hard work on the improv (easiest job ever, btw), but I'm not 100% sure I want to be associated with a nude podcast. Could be bad for my conservative image. ;-)

Oops! Easiest job ever, but I still managed to screw it up. Last time you two will ever ask me to help again. Sorry!!

Cate! THANK YOU so much. You did a fabulous job!
You are our official Writing Improv Queen. It was PERFECT.
We decided that we are going to do this (God have mercy on my plotter soul) about every other month. So expect another call from Lani sometime in the near future. :D
