Show Notes: 010 Twenty Questions
| Description: This week on Will Write For Wine... Sam and Lani interview each other. Lani gets drunk, unapologetically. Also, Dorothy Parker, NASA, and those damn sybarites. You're gonna laugh until you turn rufescent. (Look it up! It's a real word!) |

What are we drinking?
Lani had 2004 La Playa Chardonnay, Chile.
Wine notes: Pure fruit-focused, un-oaked varietal characteristics. Vibrant fresh aromas of pears and peaches. Flavors are bright and full; candied citrus and pears, with medium palate weight. Well-balanced and persistent. Thank you to our wine conneection, Laura Fitzgerald.
Sam had 2005 Glenora Dry Riesling from the Fingers Lake region of New York State.
Wine notes: A dry wine balanced with pleasant, fruity, classic Riesling characteristics. $13.
Shout-out to: Sam’s cat, Oliver, for catching the mouse he lost last week.
The folks at RAID for the hornet spray. You saved Sam's life.
The doctors, nurses, and respiratory specialists at Crouse Hospital's Pediatric Ward.
Anonymous Happy Elevator Guys.
Ann from Australia:
I have a question about 'hard' street dates and how they effect the sales figures for a book. I'm on several lists and readers love announcing they found such and such book before it goes on sale formally. I've been a loud voice is saying this isn't good if it is before the street date. Your opinions?

Hi Sam and Lani! I'm catching up after getting my sick laptop back from Gateway. This was a great episode, as always. I have a few comments/questions.
1. Tell me how you describe the personality of a person who likes Pepsi more but for some stupid reason, always buys Coke?? I rarely buy Pepsi, but when I drink Coke, I always think, "Pepsi would taste so much better.." I am a diet soda drinker, too.
2. Sam, I'm totally with you on The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I couldn't imagine a life without it.
3. Lani, I'm so glad your daughter is better. Asthma is scary. I have had it since I was a kid and had a couple of hospital trips that were nerve wracking both as a kid and as an adult. I hope she's feeling okay now.
