Show Notes: 013 - 50 Ways to Torture Your Characters

Description: This week on Will Write For Wine... It's Lani's birthday! And Sam and Lani play drinking games! And they're way too old for that ****! Plus, kinky and nefarious uses for duct tape, wine in the doghouse, and two words: Bad cheese!

What are we drinking?
Lani had a 2005 Doghouse Charlie's Chard Chardonnay.
Wine notes: A youthful, playful, fruit-driven wine with refreshing aromas of juicy lemon and sweet citrus blossom. Caramel apple flavors complement creamy malolactic textures. The rich mouthfeel is well-balanced by a friendly nip of bright acidity. Vanilla nuances from malolactic fermentation wrap up with a fresh and clean finish. 13.5%, $10

Sam had a 2004 Sauvignon Blanc from Moon Mountain Vineyard in CA.
Wine notes: Crisp acidity is followed by refreshing flavors of citrus, gooseberry and a hint of kiwi. $12. 13.7%.

Shout-out to:

I haven't listened yet, though I'm sure it's great, but I saw Lani had listed Dogs & Goddesses on the Recommends bit. I just came across that site earlier this week and it's hilarious!

Happy Birthday, Lani!

p.s. I never got a chance to thank you both for putting my question on the last episode and trying to answer it. Plotting is such a tough beast. :)

Hey, Jen! Glad you're enjoying D&G! It's been a lot of fun. And thanks for the birthday wishes!! We got a little too tipsy last night, but we can blame it on celebrating, right? LOL. And that we're too damn old for drinking games.

No problem on the plotting stuff - thanks for asking! We're thrilled to try and be helpful when we can. And when we can't, we're happy just to be sipping! ;)

This was your best show yet! I'm revising my WIP while thinking about torturing my characters and the conflict is getting bigger and the drama is getting more tense. You guys rock! Plus, you're both so damn cute when you're snockered.

Eileen! Thanks so much! Sorry it took so long for me to fish your comments out of junk - Movable Type is very complicated that way. Anyway - I'm glad you enjoyed it! I have to say, Sam's stuff is helping me a lot, too. I was listening to the show this morning with Fish, and a lot of her suggestions really got me thinking about how best to torture my girl in this next outing. Can't wait!

I'm way behind on my listening. Happy Birthday Lani! Wish you were coming to Dallas.

And just imagine me, sitting here at my desk, talking to the puter while listening to the podcast. Love you guys!
