Feedback, damnit!

I adore Firefly/Serenity, and it was so lovely to hear your thoughts on it. One of my favorite parts of Joss's world-building was the whole Companion system, and the prestige and respect surrounding that occupation. It echoed the image of the sexy, enigmatic, independent prostitute, but tweaked to fit the context of the Verse.

Also, a question: I think Lani mentioned something in passing in an earlier episode about figuring out what sort of hero to give your heroines. How do you fit your heroes to your heroines?

Hi Gina-

Thanks for listening! The Campanion system was very well done. And Mal's view on it was interesting as well which made the chemistry between them all the more powerful. :)

What a great question about matching the hero and heroine! This is a certainly critical part of writing a romance and we both put a lot of thought into those choices.

Promise we'll answer this in one of our shows soon. Thanks!

Sam (and Lani)
