Wine notes: Bright and racy with lots of crisp lime, citrus fruit, and creamy minerals.

What are we drinking?
Lani had 2005 Sterling Vintner's Collection Sauvignon Blanc, California.
Wine notes: Bright aromas and flavors of grapefruit, lemongrass and hints of fig and white peach. 13.5% alcohol, $11.

Sam had 2005 Bouchon Cabernet from Sonoma County, California. Another great wine from the lovely Laura Fitzgerald.
Wine notes: Rich blackcurrant, vanilla, and chocolate aromas, all supported by an underlying earthiness. The tannins are firm on this full-bodied, well-balanced wine. 13%.

I have heard that there is a rule that my antagonist should not be the love interest for my protagonist. I am sure that I have read many, many books where this rule is discarded, but could you talk about why I would my book will be weaker if I were to use this construction, please?

Lani had Ledgewood Creek 2004 PicNique Chardonnay from California. From wonderful Laura.
Wine notes: The Ledgewood Creek is a strong example of what the area is capable of: melon and tropical fruit aromas, well-balanced with touches of toast and butter. It's medium-bodied, well-balanced, and smooth." $10.

Sam had 2005 Pinot Noir from Chalone Vineyard in California. $16.
Wine notes: The wine features rich aromas of tart black cherries with hints of clove and nutmeg.
