We are looking for a few good questions for comments for our Reader, Listener and Writer Mail.
If you've ever wondered how writers plot or how books get to the shelves or what the heck a print run is, here's the place to ask.
Each month, all eligible entries will go into a wine bucket. At the end of the month, we'll pull a name out of the bucket to win a fabulous prize!
On tap for August will be two prizes to one lucky winner:
A signed copy of Small Fires CD and a signed copy of Faultline CD by WWfW's own BFF, the fabulous Adrienne Pierce.
To enter, email us with your reader/listener/writer question or comment, or wine suggestions if you are over 21. Please include your name and mailing address.
Cheers.
Sam & Lani
The rules:
1. By providing your mailing address, you are entering the contest and
alleging that you are 18 or over.
2. Folks under 18 can still feel free to ask questions; as long as your
address isn't in the e-mail, you're not participating in the contest, and
it's all good.
3. Due to the plethora of international shipping restrictions, we can only
ship to the US and Canada.

Taking a wine break...um again
Hey all you WWfW-ers out there!
Due to an unfortunate wine accident, Lani and Sam will not be doing a show this week or next week. But never fear, we’ll be in fine wine-drinkin’, writer-rockin’, screwin'-up-the-D-block form on August 9th.
And hey, this gives you all two weeks to think of some great questions or wine suggestions. Post ‘em here or email, and we’ll get them on the air pronto.
So until then, sleep well and dream of large women.

A slight delay...
Sorry, Wiffers! (That's what we call you listeners behind your back. Isn't it cute?) We couldn't record the podcast last night, so it's delayed a day this week. But it will be up tonight, we promise!

Will Write for Wine Intro - Samantha

Who are we and why are we here?
It all started about mid-January when Lani introduced me to podcasts.
Yes, I know. I'm a geek and I didn't even know what a podcast was, but it's not for lack of interest. It's for lack of time. I already have two websites, a MySpace, YouTube and a blog that I'm addicted to. Do I really need any more obsessions? Apparently so.
I now have about four podcasts that I enjoy as well as a slew of rockin' radio stations. See? I can be taught.
But I soon learned that Lani had ulterior motives. She kept pointing me to Lime and Violet, a dynamic knitting duo who host a weekly podcast about knitting and life. Next thing I know, Lani and I are sending podcast titles back and forth and picking theme music. When we finally settled on Will Write for Wine, the floodgates opened and it's all kind of a blur after that.
I need to give my girl kudos for braving the whole audio-techno world. I can only work on things that don't move. Like websites. So to make myself useful, I'm doing content. That doesn't move.
So here we are, hosting our first ever podcast. Sit back with a good glass of wine and enjoy the show. And if you don't enjoy the show, at least you'll have wine.
Cheers.
Sam
